1969 Charger R/T SE

I purchased this 1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE in October of 2000. At first, I was looking to buy a Dodge Dart like I had in high school — a 1968 Dart 270 or a 1969 Dart GTS 340 convertible. After looking at a few Darts in the area my wife saw an ad for a 1969 Charger R/T and showed it to me. It sounded interesting so I called the number. Turns out I had worked with the owner for a year and a half at a car dealership. Checked it out the next day, made an offer and next thing you know I was driving it home..

The Charger is equipped with the SE (Special Edition) Package, power windows, air conditioning, power drum brakes, power steering and front center cushion with fold-down armrest.

Odometer shows 11,000 miles which people think is correct due to its condition but it’s actually 111,000 miles. It came from the Austin, Texas area and was restored in the early to mid-90’s.
